HHL Group use Ferret to process and file 26,000 paper timesheets per fortnight

“We were very excited to implement Ferret as we were very dependent on old-school filing systems and archive storage. Being a National Payroll Processing Centre, we were processing and filing approx 26,000 paper timesheets per fortnight. Storing these processed timesheets took considerable space and cost a huge amount in storage costs over the seven years that we were required to keep original timesheets. It was a regular event for one of the payroll ladies ask me to retrieve an archive box from the bottom of the stack.

Since implementing Ferret, all payroll staff have instant access to all processed timesheets from their desktop. Our storage costs have reduced dramatically and I no longer am moving countless numbers of archive boxes. Also since implementing Ferret, we have commenced storing other documents (not just timesheets) which makes filing and retrieving so much easier and efficient.”
